Welcome back Sean!!!!

Something happened to Slats over the past year.  Not sure what it is, but he got his touch back.  He made a huge trade, he got rid of three mistakes (Drury, Gomez and Redden) and he developed talent from the draft and then resisted the temptation to trade them. Now, on a roll, he has told his arrogant head coach to take his petty personal issues and shove them where the sun does not shine.  Slats has always appreciated Sean, and when he saw the type of team he had on the ice, he knew they were missing his spark, his energy, his willingness to give it all for his team attitude.

Welcome back Sean.  Time to show every one of your detractors what you got. Remember what Vince Lombardi said:
"It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up."
Coach Clueless, and his revolving lines, knocked you down. Now it's time to get up and prove him wrong. Oh, by the way, Joe Thornton, would you care to come back and call the Rangers soft now?

Oh Pundit this is such a happy day! The idiot decision to send Sean to the Whale could have been just the thing we needed to bring Sean back to us - ALL OF SEAN! Let's see what happens now. with any luck he'll get to play the role he was born to play and i don't mean just in your face hockey. Guy has speed and skills coach idiot refuses to acknowledge.
Any chance we can get you on twitter? i would just loooove to have your in game comments! I have to tell you I am a proud member of the Avery Army, that's what the twitter tweeps who also happen to be Avery supporters have been calling ourselves. I was at opening night in my Avery jersey chanting We Want Avery and some of my twitter friends and i were in talks about making up Avery Army Tee Shirts and selling them with the proceeds going to the Garden of Dreams! Oh yeah this revolution by the fans was about to blow up in disagreeable's face if it hasn't already. Wouldn't you have loved to have been a fly on the wall when he was told that Avery was to be called up? HA! Karma can be sweet!

    Jen9400,

Yes, this is base camp for the Avery Army here at the RangerPundit. Our flag bearer took a little detour, but he's back now.

The Ranger Pundit is on twitter, but it's not used much currently.

The fact, that Torts and company were told Avery was coming back was like a cold slap on the face. I think they all realized that they were stinking the place up and something was going to change, so guess what they play a semi-inspired 60 minutes of hockey. Coincidence, I think not.
