This year's Winter Classic was a nice ice spectacle that showed that the Red Wings still have first dibs on the Cup. Also as Puck Daddy, Greg Wyshynski said, it's "something Gary Bettman hasn’t figured out how to screw up yet."

I wish I had seen the Winter Classic, but other duties called. Wrigley field looked beautiful, took my breath away how perfect everything looked.
I have an idea for your next headline. It could be 'Prucha, and a couple of other players, not all that many to be honest, try to spark an Offensless Rangers'.
(You're right, I never would have cut it in journalism, the ink costs would have run too high.)
Why Gomez and Naslund get all the ice time over Prucha is mind boggling. He's instant offense.
Journalism is a tough business these days. People have stopped reading newspapers.
JB - I missed last night's game, so I can only go off what I read of it. Sounds like Prucha has to pull a rabbit out of his hat to get the powerplay time he deserves.
Can these high-priced veterans (not really counting Markus in that group) possibly contribute less? It seems like all the dominoes are falling. I always liked Naslund's integrity and character, and seeing yet another player seemingly settle into a rut is very troubling.
The team is sinking fast and there's no veteran leadership to kick some high priced butt.
Lundqvist got a big hex from the NY Post today. They put him on their weekend Page Six Magazine cover and proclaimed: So long Sean Avery! New York Rangers Goalie Henrik Lundqvist is the World's "SEXIEST ICE MAN"
Might be like the SI cover hex or the Madden Football curse. If he falters the jig is up.
